Statement
Beyond Contemporary Art Penang (also known as BCAP) – 2023 International Art Summit & Expo Penang will take place for the first time in Penang, a major historical art hub of Southeast Asia in the mid 20th century.
BCAP is set to be an exciting large-scale art platform in the Asia Pacific where the contemporary art summit, art exhibition, art auction and other off-site arts and tourism activities will all come together under one umbrella.
Supported by the Penang State Government and PETACE (Penang State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy), it will take place primarily at The Wembley, A St Giles Hotel – Penang, from 9th to 12th November 2023. This large-scale art event spanning over 25,000 square feet is set to present an array of exciting opportunities for art aficionados, high net-worth VIPs, gallery owners, private and corporate collectors, museum directors and curators, media, and potential buyers from various industries such as real estate, interior design, architecture, and hospitality.
The international art summit is the significant highlight of the event, featuring esteemed speakers from around the Asia Pacific region who will engage in talks, discussions, and Q&A panels on future art sessions that include creativity, business, and sustainability. A prestigious gala dinner on the final day of the event will celebrate and acknowledge the important art players and key contributors to the art world.
As the Asia Pacific art scene continues to grow rapidly, driven by economic growth and rising wealth, particularly in Southeast Asia, this event provides an excellent opportunity to be seen and heard in the art world. We invite you to join us in this exciting event and bring along your loved ones and families to spend the year-end holiday in Penang, where you will enjoy a diverse mix of culture, heritage, and art.
